“Teddy will fight for equal rights for all Oregonians.  Teddy is also uniquely positioned to build legislative coalitions by bridging the gap between our rural and urban communities."
George Eighmey, Former State Representative of our neighborhood

Dear Friends -

It’s hard to believe, but in just a couple weeks ballots are going to be hitting your mailbox.  The campaign is going great because of the support of hundreds of people like you.  I’ve knocked on over 8,300 doors and am gaining support all over the district.

I’m excited to have received the endorsement of former State Representative George Eighmey.  A long-time resident of southeast Portland, Rep. Eighmey was one of the legislature’s strongest voices in support of our schools and a champion for civil rights.  Since leaving office, he has been the executive director of Compassion & Choices Oregon, advocating for choice in end-of-life health care.  I’m honored to have his support.

Getting close to the end of the campaign doesn’t mean we can slow down; it’s just the opposite.  We need a lot more help from supporters and volunteers over the next month.

Here’s how you can get involved:

Volunteer with the campaign at on April 19th and May 3rd.  These are big events, and we need your help canvassing, literature dropping, and in the office!  We will gather at campaign headquarters (1615 SE 30th Avenue) at 11:00 AM.  Food will be provided.  And bring along your friends and family!  Email us at info@goteddygo.com and let us know when you can make it.

Sign up for a lawn sign!  You may have seen them around the district; in fact, at least one of your neighbors probably already has one.  Go Teddy Go lawn signs are one of the hottest political commodities in southeast and northeast Portland this election year, so much so that we’ve had to order a second batch.  Be sure to get yours before they’re gone! (see: http://www.goteddygo.com/takeaction.htm

I’m trying to reach as many voters as I can between now and May 3rd, and I need your help.  Volunteers are canvassing the district, making phone calls, and distributing literature and lawn signs.

To volunteer, request a lawn sign, or get more information, please email info@goteddygo.com , visit www.GoTeddyGo.com, or call 503-234-2535.

Thank you once again for all your hard work and support!  Together, we can make Oregon even better.

Yours,

Teddy
