Dear Friends,
I’m writing today to ask for your vote. The Secretary of State’s office advises that ballots should be mailed by Friday, May 16th. That’s tomorrow, and only one in four people in our district have voted. If you’ve already voted, I thank you for your support! Don’t forget to remind your friends and family to get their ballots in as well.
I’ve received wonderful support from people all over the district, but we can’t rest on our laurels. Only five days remain before the election, and I need your help. I’ve personally knocked on more than 10,000 doors in the district. This election’s going to be very close. Every vote is critical, and it could be yours that makes the difference.
I’m also asking for your time: we have to reach all of our supporters over these last five days of the campaign to remind them to get their ballots in. If you are able to volunteer, I would greatly appreciate your help; please call 503-234-2535.
If you still haven’t received your ballot, or you’re having any other difficulty, you can call Multnomah County Elections at 503-988-3720. If you don’t get your ballot into the mail before the weekend, you can also find a map of ballot drop boxes around the district at: http://www.mcelections.org/election_information/drop_sites.shtml
This has been a wonderful and exciting campaign, not only for me but for Oregon. The success of this campaign is because of the support of thousands of people like you. Together, I know we can make Oregon even better.
Yours,

Teddy
